Hi, my name is Tom Harris. I’m from London in England. I was born in East London, near Stratford and I grew up there. Today I still live in London and I really love the city. It’s busy and sometimes noisy, but it’s full of life
I like walking along the Thames, taking the tube and meeting friends in small cafes. Let me tell you about my family. I have a small family, but we are very close. I’m married to my wife Emma. She’s a nurse and she works in a hospital in London.
She’s kind, hard working and very patient. We have two children. Our son is 7 years old and his name is Oliver. He loves football, especially Arsenal, and he also enjoys video games. Our daughter is four and her name is Lily.
She loves drawing, singing and telling funny stories. My parents live in North London. My dad is Michael and he’s a taxi driver. My mom is Susan and she works in a small shop. They often visit us on Sundays and we usually have lunch together.
I also have one sister, Chloe. She’s younger than me and she lives in Manchester. So we don’t see each other very often, but we call each other a lot. My Grandma Margaret is 78. She lives near the river and she tells great stories about old London.
I’m proud of my family and I’m proud to be from London.
