What Is the Arabic alphabet?
The Arabic alphabet is the writing system used to write Arabic and other languages such as Persian, Urdu, and Pashto.
Some important characteristics:
- It has 28 letters.
- It is written from right to left.
- It does not use uppercase or lowercase letters.
- Most letters change slightly in shape depending on their position within a word.
- Short vowels are usually represented by small marks called diacritics.

Letters that require practice
