Traditional books allow you to set your own pace and memorize more words just by looking at them. On the other hand, audiobooks make it easier to understand the pronunciation and adopt the original style of speaking.

A great method to consolidate your new knowledge is to put it into practice, dust off your writing skills, and practice your new knowledge by writing a letter or postcard to a friend or family member, a blog post, some text for your social networks, etc…

6. Making smart goals
SMART planning is one of the best productivity hacks. Here is what each letter stands for and what they mean when setting a goal.
- S = Specific – Make your goal as specific as possible
- M = Measurable – Provide a way to evaluate your goals using data and metrics
- A = Achievable – Make sure your goal is achievable to you
- R = Realistic – Your goal has to relate to the main focus and not something else
- T = Time-Bound – Give yourself a reasonable deadline to complete the task
SMART objectives are only useful if you write them down and keep them where you can see them every day.

1 hour of conversation is as good as 5 hours in a classroom.
If you have the opportunity to converse with a native speaker, don’t hesitate and do it!
If you are traveling, start the conversation with the locals, this way you will learn the lingo and also work on your social and language skills.
Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. It’s completely normal to make mistakes, don’t let failures discourage you.
You learn from your mistakes!
If you have a friend, you have a treasure, so if you have a friend who speaks the language you are studying, ask him or her to correct you and converse with you.
